Taylor Lautner's first MTV Movie Award win couldn't have been more tailor-made for the hunky 21-year-old. The "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" actor took off his top... and took home the Best Shirtless Performance Golden Popcorn.

Seth Rogen, Danny McBride and Zac Efron presented Lautner with the inaugural honor. But when the actor took to the stage, he looked, well, a bit different from his alter ego Jacob Black. Namely, sporting a "belly" and baring pockets full of popcorn and licorice. "Thank you, everyone. I'm just going to be real honest with you guys. I turned 21 recently. I've been drinking a little bit, eating a little bit, a little too much drinking, probably," he said of his new physique. Lautner's transformation was all the more evident as an image of his sculpted six-pack was displayed behind him. "You know, that picture was actually taken a few years ago," he explained. "Those were the gold old days. You could bounce a quarter off of those things. But in all seriousness, for us shirtless actors out there, this is like winning the Oscar. But this is as high as it gets. This is the shirtless Oscar. Thank you everyone, for all of us that take our shirts off — McConaughey, Tatum, Lena Dunham — this is it. Thank you to all. Thank you for voting. You're the best. Thank you."

Lautner beat out Channing Tatum ("Magic Mike"), Christian Bale ("The Dark Knight Rises"), Daniel Craig ("Skyfall") and Seth MacFarlane ("Ted") for the honor. The "Twilight" star has previous nominations for Breakthrough Performance Male ("Twilight"), Best Male Performance ("The Twilight Saga: New Moon," "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse") and Best Kiss ("Valentine's Day," "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse").

This summer, Twilight fans will get a little relief — they get to see Taylor Lautner‘s muscles on the big screen again. With Grown Ups 2 hitting theaters this July, the new trailer shows Taylor playing Andy, a hunky frat boy who gets referred to as “Abercrombie.” The nickname is so appropriate.

Taylor plays a cocky prep who approaches the main cast — including Adam Sandler, Kevin Smith, David Spade and Chris Rock — and forces them all to dive off a cliff, completely naked. The sequel also includes other new faces, including the super sexy Patrick Schwarzenegger, Milo Ventimiglia, Andy Samberg and Shaquille O’Neal.

Never accuse wax figure house Madame Tussauds of skimping on the details. The Berlin flagship for the tourist attraction unveiled a new statue of "Twilight Saga" actor Taylor Lautner, making sure they recreated all his notable features. The likeness has a sculpted six pack that's on par with Lautner's real-life stomach, heavily featured in the vampire franchise co-starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

All three leads have previously been immortalized by the museum, though Stewart's was unconventional: given her character's transformation from human to vampire, Tussauds decided to sculpt her in ice. Kristen's solid form was recently spotted partying with Lautner in Los Angeles. The two rolled with a group of friends to music venue The Troubador for a performance from Marcus Foster in early March.

It's been a quiet 2013 for Taylor, but he's still developing a feature project with director Gus Van Sant, and will be popping up as a frat boy later this year in Adam Sandler's "Grown Ups 2" ... along with his famous abs, we're sure.

We never really saw Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart hanging around together while they were playing Jacob and Bella in Twilight, but now the vampire films have come to an end, they're suddenly new BFFs.

Maybe Taylor's under strict instructions from Robert Pattinson to keep his girlfriend company while he films his new movie on the other side of the world in Australia? Maybe they've suddenly decided they miss each other? Maybe they're having a secret affair? (probably not that last one actually).

The actress formerly known as Bella and 'that topless wolf one' went on the most American day out we've ever seen - to the baseball batting cages! To be honest, if our mate suggested an afternoon at the cricket nets, we'd ask if they'd heard of these great places called 'the pub', but Taylor's a clean-cut, healthy-looking type, so we wouldn't expect him to get drunk with us.           

It's Kristen and Taylor's second friend-date in two weeks - the first time they went out, they drove to a gig in matching hats . And once you start dressing alike, you know you're spending too much time together.

We're sure it's a total coincidence that both their trips out have been within the same week that Breaking Dawn: Part Two was released on DVD.

If you're still upset the Twilight Saga has come to an end, remember that there's a helpline you can call . Or just look at these pictures and pretend that this is Breaking Dawn: part three, when Bella and Jacob have a pleasant afternoon out together. Hey, at least poor Kristen has recovered from the injury that left her on crutches for the Oscars.

This week, Twilight author Stephenie Meyer said she felt "bad" that her books made R-Pattz and K-Stew so famous. "'I just don't think they enjoy the parts [of fame] that other people would. And I totally get that, because it would not be my thing either," she told The Times magazine this weekend. "At the same time - and this is where the guilt comes from - it's created this nice, peaceful place for me. They took all of my heat, which I feel bad about."

She added: "If they had the choice, I've no idea if they'd even do Twilight again. I just don't know. I think this has all come at a heavy price." Yeah, but Kristen gets to hang around with the hot wolf one! Which means it's all probably been worth it.

Now that Twilight is officially finished and Breaking Dawn Part 2 is about to be released on DVD, we've been reliving the good old days. Like that time in New Moon that Taylor Lautner asked Kristen Stewart to shave his back.

Erm, missed that bit? Yeah us too, but after a careful watch again, you'll be surprised what else you didn't notice the first 36 times you watched it. Clearly Taylor being topless was more distracting than we'd realised and we had totally forgotten Jake discussing his porpoise meat diarrhea and Bella running over gummy bears with her out of control motorbike skills. What's that, this is actually a Bad Lip Reading you say? Whatever, nobody in their right mind is going to pass up Robert Pattinson asking them to do a full body cavity search...

While Robert Pattinson is away, his close pals will play! … In a totally platonic way, of course. Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were photographed leaving The Troubadour in West Hollywood together with a group of friends on Tuesday night. The “Twilight” BFF’s went to watch Marcus Foster perform, who is a close friend of Pattinson’s.

Although Pattinson wasn’t in attendance — he’s shooting “The Rover” in Australia — he was there in spirit. Stewart, 22, wore her boyfriend’s baseball cap to top off her casual ensemble. A witness tells omg! that Stewart hung in the VIP section with friends and “looked like she was having a great time.”

“She sipped on a drink and was rocking out to the performance,” adds our source. “She talked with Taylor a lot, they were laughing. Seemed like a fun night out! Stewart’s posse included Lautner, singer Christina Perri (who was featured on the “Breaking Dawn” soundtrack), and her new concert pal/Katy Perry’s assistant, Tamra Natisin.

The group hung until the end of the show before attempting to keep a low profile while slipping out the back exit. Lautner, Stewart and Natisin all hopped in an awaiting car together and drove off. Stewart and Lautner have been hanging together quite a bit while Pattinson has been away filming. The “On the Road” actress even helped her former co-star celebrate his 21st birthday last month. Still, Pattinson is very much still Stewart’s main man. A source assures omg! that the couple is “still together.”

The fictional character, played by Nikki Reed, 24, in the Twilght saga, is attacked in the head by Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), 21, with a dog bowl in a never-before-seen clip from the extended edition of Breaking Dawn: Part 1. Rosalie sets down the dog bowl, which contains a hot dog, next to Jacob, telling him, "Enjoy, mongrel," with a smirk.

After taking a bite of the meal, Lautner proceeds to hurl the bowl at her head, as she walks away with her back facing him. "He hit me in the head with that bowl, but it was a rubber bowl," Reed tells PEOPLE of the prop. "I mean, it doesn't matter what Taylor throws, it's all going to be painful."The extra clip is a scene that was written up in the original Breaking Dawn book, but never made it to the big screen version. The extended DVD, along with the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 DVD, is available (separately) March 2.

"We love giving the fans any opportunity to see more," Reed says. "And as an actor making these films, you kind of know these stories revolve around the love story with Bella, Edward and Jacob. The books contain a lot more, but the films can only be so long. We shoot a lot of stuff that doesn't necessarily make it into the film, but they're always on the DVD."

Reflecting back on the cast and her time filming, Reed calls their bond "undeniable," saying, "I think that we will all continue to put in the effort. We're always all over the place and it's hard to find each other. It does take work, but I think we all care about each other."

In fact, fellow costar, Peter Facinelli, already has a regular reunion plan. "Peter was like, 'Hey, should we do like every Sunday brunch?' " Reed says. "I said, 'Sure, if I'm in town, I'm in.' I'm positive there will be a massive reunion. I'm not sure who is going to organize it, but I am happy to."

While Robert Pattinson is busy in Australia filming The Rover, Kristen Stewart has been preoccupying herself by hitting up Los Angeles’ social scene! K-Stew went to L.A.’s Lucky Strike bowling alley to celebrate Taylor Lautner‘s 21st brithday. How cute! Rob, Kristen and Taylor have spent the last five years filming The Twilight Saga together, so it’s such a pity Rob was not able to join them for the festivities.

Taylor turned 21 years old Feb. 11, and he decided to celebrate his milestone by going bowling; no hot clubs for Taylor! And his laid-back celebration was right up Kristen’s alley — pardon the pun — as she arrived with a few friends to help him celebrate.

The intimate party kicked off at 9:30 p.m. in a private area of the bowling alley, and young Hollywood stars like Ashley Benson and Patrick Schwarzenegger were also in attendance, according to Us Weekly. The group ate sliders, guacamole and pizza while bowling and listening to music. Taylor “drank nothing,” however, as the party was two days before his actual birthday.

Kristen, 22, arrived around midnight wearing a backwards cap, a ripped T-shirt, leggings and Converse sneakers. “She was being fun and social, bowling and high-fiving,” a source tells the mag. “She and Taylor definitely seemed to be good friends and she was living it up.”

“Taylor was super nice, very polite,” adds the onlooker, who also says Kristen was ”really sweet. … Everyone was having a blast, everyone was super into the bowling.”The party wrapped up at 1:30 a.m., and everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to Taylor before the night ended.

We’re glad Kristen had such a fun time, and that Taylor had a great birthday. She has been going through a tough time with Rob lately, so some fun with friends is exactly what she needs! The heart-throb has definitely changed from the start of his 'Twilight' days and has now gotten rid of the long hair and developed some amazing abs as the franchise went on.

And it seems like turning 21 has definitely had an effect already on the star. The 'Abduction' hunk looked noticeably older with his new facial hair as he made his way through the Staples Centre to catch a LA Lakers game recently. Despite his new bum-fluff, the 'Abuduction' actor still managed to look dishy in a Boston Red Sox cap and LaMer t-shirt teamed with jeans.

Last month, the Hollywood actor was spotted enjoying a date with his school sweetheart and LA Lakers cheerleader, Sara Hicks. The pair decided to reconcile after splitting three years ago. Moustache or no moustache, we still think Taylor is looking great!

Taylor Lautner keeps it cool and casual as he heads inside the Staples Center on Wednesday (January 9) in Los Angeles. The 20-year-old Twilight actor met up with his rumored on-again girlfriend Sara Hicks to watch the LA Clippers beat the Dallas Maverick 99-93. Sara is a Clippers girl! Taylor and Sara were last spotted together in December playing a fun game of football with Patrick Schwarzenegger and a group of friends.
